Device seems to be overpriced, for what it does – listing / box promises CO2 & PM measurements, outdoor & indoor air quality comparison, air quality coach, IFTTT integration – in reality, PM measurements displaying is turned off by default (only as a part of AQI), outdoor air quality data is questionable at its best (was getting some realistic data / forecasts at first, but after a few days of usage it started permanently displaying 1 AQI for my location, which is far from real situation ( they are pulling data from some open sources, so, I guess there’s an issue with pulling data from the source available), failed to find any IFTTT presence in app, “air quality coach” is 5-7 predefined messages, which are hardly insightful. As for device looks / build quality – it’s hardly a 270 buck device – glossy cheap plastic and cheap TFT LCD, which are a fingerprint magnets, displaced USB connector out of the box (had to align it manually in order to insert USB cable), plastic debris in the grill, where PM sensor is supposed to get the air… As for the sensors accuracy – can’t judge about CO2 sensor accuracy, since I don’t have any reference device, but PM readings seem to be overly optimistic, compared to other PM meters I have an access to – probably, it’s caused by measurement interval, which seems to be once per several minutes – so, it fails to catch those sudden changes, caused by burning, etc. Overall, not happy with device and wish I’ve selected a cheaper device from lesser known company – gap in price is largely due to a false promises.
