This unit is perfect for my application, a 14 x 14 ft three season room. Then why only 3stars?The supply chain for this item is not ready to meet demand for pre-filters. No OEM pre-filters available anywhere with Amazon notations that availability date is unknown (as of 11/27/2020). The pre-filters are designed for replacement at 3 month intervals, they capture large airborne particles (pet hair, dust and larger airborne dirt) so that they do not clog the critical hepa filter which captures the fine particulates, allergens and aerosolized particulates.This unit does work very well and the noise level is not intrusive except at highest fan level, even then its not annoying.I would highly recommend this unit if the OEM pre-filters were more readily available. I do not recommend using cheap knockoff replacements as I have had a bad experience with that path on my Miele canister vacuum!

We purchaed thos for our bedroom as we have two large dogs that sleep in the room with us. It does a great job of cleaning the air and keeping any doggy odor out of our room. The only reason I am giving it a 4 star instead of 5 is that even on the lowest setting, the motor makes a slight squealing sound. We like the timer but wish it was also programmable. This was known during the pirchase and did not base our rating in it not having that feature. We also like the night setting that dims the lights on the unit.

Very very quiet just as they said. Love this in my bedroom. I have to check to see if it’s in. It is. I bought another company brand bcz of UV light and sale they claimed ULTRA QUIET.HA!! NO they were not. So glad I bought this one. It’s very quiet will never wake up a baby or me. True to add and worth the purchase.

We originally bought this purifier for the obvious benefits it provides with trapping airborne contaminants. We only use it at night time while sleeping. Initially, I couldn’t speak more highly of this product. We would set it on the medium speed which provided the perfect level of white noise. We also experienced a noticeable drop in congestion and overall sleep quality with it running.Alas, after about 8 months of use, the purifier randomly started making a horrible shaking/vibration/rattling noise while on medium speed. It is easily twice as loud as it was before and it’s incredibly annoying. We’ve tried tightening the screws on the purifier body and changing out the pre filter and hepa filter with the whirlpool OEM replacement filters without any luck. I suspect there is something loose or unbalanced on the fan assembly. I would contact the company since it’s within the year warranty, but they would likely tell me either A) it isn’t covered under the limited warranty B) ship it to us for $100 to see if we can fix it or C) it’s functioning just fine and a little noise is normal.We’ve begun using the night mode which is whisper quiet with next to no sound at all. Although the perfect level of white noise is gone, there is as least some air purification happening which is the reason for this machine’s existence.Overall, I think it’s certainly worth the purchase. Just wish it would have had a bit better longevity and build quality.

This product does work great in filtering out much of what is in the air. Only issue I have is purchasing the replacement filters. They are quite expensive, approximately 50.00 each.

This is the third air purifier I have purchased from Whirlpool. The first two I purchased 20 years ago and they are both still running perfectly! I am opening a small skincare studio and I knew I wanted an air purifier for my space to keep it feeling fresh so I immediately looked for an air purifier from Whirlpool. They haven’t let me down in two decades and they continue to deliver today. I love that this has a timer so I can turn it on in the morning before clients arrive and I don’t have to remember to turn it off at the end of the day. It’s not too big and it looks fine with my decor (I got the white). I am very excited to use this for hopefully years to come.

Worked great and was super quiet until my puppy knocked it over. Now it’s super loud but still works. Not sure how it works compared to others because I haven’t used any other brands recently.

I live in California and purchased this during the fires we’ve been having. It’s made a huge difference to the air quality in my home. I could smell smoke, was getting terrible headaches, a dry throat, and sneezing before I got this air purifier. The lowest setting is very, very quiet. I will leave it in a room at full blast and then turn it down to the lowest setting to sleep. I cannot recommend highly enough!

The Whirlpool air purifier works well. Mine is located in a space sharing the family room and kitchen areas. It does remove odors from dogs, cooking, smoke, etc. It is completely quiet on the Low setting – though the Low setting takes a lot longer to remove odors; you can definitely hear it on the Medium and High settings. Even with those noise levels, I’m very pleased with the unit. I’ve had it less than 2 months, so can’t speak about how long the filters last. It is nice looking. I have not noticed any reduction of dust in the room.

Good powerful air suction and air movement. The filters get dirty so I know it’s removing dust and pet hair. It removes cooking smoke quickly as compared to not using it. It’s easy to move from room to room.

Wonderful product. Clears air well even on lowest setting, which you barely hear, btw. I used to have a Hunter air cleaner, twice the size, twice the money, yet not half as good as the Whirlpool. I REALLY like this air cleaner (as if you couldn’t tell), and it takes up very little room. I DO recommend this product.

I’ve had terrible allergies my entire life, especially to animals, even with allergy shots. I’ve used other air purifiers in the past that didn’t help much. I bought my first unit of this air purifier December of 2020 when we got our first puppy – it worked great to both keep down my allergies and remove any “dog” odor from the living room area where we keep his kennel and dog bed. I bought the second unit when I needed to stay with my mother-in-law for a while to help care for her and she has a cat. I took my original unit for her living room then put the new unit in the bedroom where I slept and worked – the day after we set it up in her living room (before we brought her home from rehab), we walked in and couldn’t smell the cat (huge improvement). I was able to stay there that week with barely any allergy problems, which is huge for me. I left it there for her when I was able to return because it helped so much to eliminate the cat odor… I decided they help so much, I bought a 3rd unit for my bedroom to help me through pollen/grass/weed season and to help me sleep better. Highly recommend. You can buy replacement outer filters and inner filters on Amazon too.

This thing is loaded and legit.I spent a week researching air purifiers and this was my choice for my bed room.Within an hour you can notice a difference then you just get acclimated to it.Some people report a plastic smell. I experienced this too, but this is fairly standard for electronics, especially ones white fans. Just let it run some where you won’t be and let it cycle it out.

If you’re a medical cannabis smoker, this is the machine to get, it takes the smell away In 30 minutes or it could be less, but leaves a nice fresh smell to my apartment, and I have a pretty long apartment. But I use this when I’m sleeping in my bedroom, and during the day it’s in the living room. This a great investment.

The sound that it makes is the sound of white noise to us. My husband likes to sleep with a fan on, so it is no problem for us even on high. It clears out the air for us. We both have allergies and it has works well to clear out the air for us. We both like it. We would have liked a larger; however, it has been great for the money (for what we could afford at the time). We have had for about 2-3 months. We will see how well it continues to work. We are thinking of purchasing another, because we like this one so much.

We are using the purifier in my husbands study which is a small room. He has asthma. The air in the study is incredibly clean. I can sense the cleanliness when I go in. It’s very quiet and light as a feather. I recommend this product with gusto if your room is small.

Don’t know why they call it “Whispure”, i’t loud! My old Honeywell was much quieter than this one.As soon as I got this one, I found out the filters are either not available or very pricey!!

I love this filter system. I notice I sleep really good even. It filters all the smoke from the fires. I’m so happy I purchased it. My house is 1344 square feet and I keep it upstairs and move to downstairs at night. I highly recommend this product. Low noise and love the cool air. So fresh. I can breathe.Disappointed it stopped working but I have filters for it so I will buy a new one. Not sure what happened to it.
